Tedd Arnold is an American author and illustrator who has written and illustrated over 100 children's books. He is best known for his popular series, "Fly Guy," which follows the adventures of a boy named Buzz and his pet fly, Fly Guy.
Arnold was born on January 20, 1949 in Elmira, New York. He studied advertising and design at the University of Florida and began his career as a commercial artist before transitioning to children's book illustration.
In addition to the "Fly Guy" series, Arnold has written and illustrated many other books, including the "Parts" series, "Hi! Fly Guy," and "The Signmaker's Assistant." He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Theodor Seuss Geisel Honor Award and the Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best Juvenile Mystery.
Tedd Arnold currently lives in upstate New York with his wife and three children. His books are known for their humor, creativity, and engaging illustrations that appeal to young readers.
